    New Student Cancellation Form

    Applicants wishing to discontinue their application process with Fairmont State University before they have been admitted should complete the New Student Cancellation Form.

    Submitted requests will be processed by Admissions Services within seven (7) business days.  After that timeframe, if you have not received an email confirmation of the requested change, please contact us at admit@fairmontstate.edu or by phone at 304-367-4964

    Please note, upon completion of this form all processing of your application will cease and you will need to complete a new application if you later wish to be admitted. Completion of this form will not affect your current status if you are in an existing program (i.e. Dual Enrollment, Undergraduate, ...). Please call Admissions Services or consult your assigned admissions counselor if you are unsure a cancellation is right for you.
