New Student Orientation


    New Student Orientation is your first step in becoming a student at Fairmont State University. This program is designed to assist you in your transition to being a current student by introducing you to our campus, programs, and academics. 

    You will schedule classes for the upcoming semester, secure a photo ID card, and become familiar with the campus and all of its services--from residence halls to financial aid.

    New students and parents will also learn about the institution’s important calendars, policies and tools, and will meet current students, faculty, staff and administrators.

    *Students that attend Orientation on August 3rd, 2022 have the ability to move into their housing assignment that day and can beat the rush of move-in day!
