Finish What You Started

The Finish What You Started event was created specifically to encourage those who have taken a hiatus from their pursuit of a college education, to restart and finish earning their degrees.

During the event, each attendee will receive a $1000 one-time scholarship for their first year at Fairmont State University. This event is specifically catered to readmitted and transfer students; preparing them with all the tools and resources that Fairmont State has to offer. 

To receive the scholarship: 

• Students must NOT be a first-time freshman 
• Must be full-time students 
• Must have a 2.75 GPA to receive the entire award; those with lower GPAs will receive a smaller award 
• Minimum GPA to qualify is 2.0
